About the event

It’s time for another East Bay drive, and  we’ve picked Sunday, May 24th to traverse the East Bay hills. 


We will meet at 9:00AM in the Castro Valley Community Center parking lot at 18988 Lake Chabot Rd in Castro Valley, with a planned departure of 10:00AM.


Our tour will take us through the Oakland Hills alongside Chabot Regional Park with spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay from Skyline Blvd, and Grizzly Peak Blvd.


Our tour will end at the Back Forty Texas BBQ in Pleasant Hill where we’ll pig out on a Texas BBQ Buffet. 


The meal will include Pork Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Caesar salad, Granny Smith Coleslaw, baked beans, Ranch Rolls and Butter, Assorted Cookies and tea or lemonade, and can get cocktails in the bar too.
